S. Rowley, MD
Richard S. Rowley, MD established this practice in 1978. He is
a graduate of Cornell University and the State University of New
York at Buffalo School of Medicine. Richard S. Rowley, MD completed
his residency training at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia after
he served as a general medical officer in the U.S. Air Force in
England. Dr. Rowley is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and is a
Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member
of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He is on the medical
staff of Phoenixville Hospital, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center,
and is associated with Wills Eye Hospital.
Richard S. Rowley, MD specializes in the diagnosis and treatment
of medical eye diseases. He performs comprehensive eye exams for
adults and children. In addition, he does laser procedures for after
cataract capsular opacification and glaucoma, and performs minor
surgery. The wealth of experience he accumulated from 22 years of
performing surgery makes him highly capable of evaluating the need
for patients to have all types of eye surgery.
Our office is affiliated with several refractive surgical
centers for laser vision correction to reduce or eliminate dependence
on glasses or contact lenses. Patients can have their pre and post
operative care in our office.
Richard S. Rowley, MD is married and has two children, Bryan and
Jacquelyn.
